Sunny Sweet Summertime!

Well friends, after another semester at USU summer is here again! I’ve got a job working at Operation: Happy Kids Inc. aka a day care! And even though I already have gotten pink eye from the little buggers I actually LOVE my job! I literally get paid to hold babies all day or go to the park and field trips with the school aged kids. It can be frustrating but man I love those kids so much already!

As some of you may know in the past my baking endeavors have been…less than successful. SO, my goal this summer is to practice, practice, PRACTICE! I’ve already started and I am happy to say that I am improving! In fact, I made Lime Coconut Cupcakes the other day completely from scratch and they turned out WONDERFUL! I took them to a pool party and they were a hit! Who knows maybe by the end of the summer I’ll have my very own apron and whip up the perfect chocolate cupcake with ease! Confession.

Alright, due to a recent post on my wall on facebook I think it's time I confess my love to someone very dear to my heart. I understand there may be some controversy due to age, and yadda yadda but I cannot help myself. I am in love with Leonardo DiCaprio. Seriously, I swoon, blush, and faint when I see him. He's wonderful and extremely talented. It was Leo (yes we are on a first name basis) who made me love blondes and now I'm hooked. I don't know what else to say but that he has it all. Here, thanks to Frenny, is the picture that inspired this post and further ignited the love.

Stalker or Thorough Housekeeper?

So up here in good ol' COLD... snow tomorrow, Logan :( I work at the University Inn on campus. Well, BJ Novak (Ryan from the office) stayed at our hotel while he performed a stand up show for the university (Utah State is cool like that) So I kindly prepared his room to a special degree of excellence. The next day, after he checked out, I got to clean up his room. Ah the delightful duties of a housekeeper. Well I am pleased to report that he was very tidy, wears -1.5 and

-1.75 contacts, uses a limousine service to travel from the airport and sleeps on the right side of the bed. Yes I am very aware that I sound like a stalker but you learn a lot after cleaning up hotel rooms. Well I am sorry to say that I have become increasingly more stalker...ish.

As I was taking the trash bag out of the garbage can I found that it was seriously heavy for being filled with nothing but note cards. Now what would my good friend BJ have on note cards I wondered. So I got in the trash, took them out and what did I find?? His cue cards. From his stand up show. Well you know the phrase, one man's trash... So I took them. I a

m now the owner of BJ's cue cards which are hilar. Now please don't find me creepy. No rituals will be performed with the cards to make him love me. They will just be a means of endless laughter and perhaps the evidence that I, Jenessa Ward, cleaned the room of BJ Novak.

Take Two!

Here's try to for keeping up a blog, I'm estimated about a 50% chance that I'll really keep it up. Although this year is epic. I mean it EPIC. I'm living at old farm with some super great girls and then some...Read into that what you must :) For sake of privacy (although it's not too hard to figure out) we shall refer to us legit girls as Frenny, Lyn Lyn, Bonquiqui and Einna OR when speaking of as us one person (which let's face it, we are) Lynessafinefer Bonquiqui. She is the bees knees. Seriously. I'm going to have some catching up to do on all the "events" we've had but to kick it off we'll talk about....THE HOWL!!! AKA the BIGGEST Halloween party West of...wherever. We're talking over 7,000 people. In costumes. Ready to Party. And Party we did!

Frenny and I went as Stepford wives and looked fantastic with our puffy dresses and gloves. And Lyn Lyn...man she looked adorable as a lady bug with the costume creatively thought of by me and Lyn Lyn and executed by Frenny (who's pretty talented like that). We DANCED it up all night long and went to WE THE KINGS who were absolutely great live and were the cause of me and Frenny being trampled. Don't worry I was saved by a half naked man. I'm serious.

But even after being trampled, having extremely sore feet, complete sleep deprivation, and seeming totally wasted on our walk back home at 1:30 a.m. it was the BEST Halloween eva!

Now also seems like a good time to introduce you to our dear friend Robert who unfortunately has different opinions about Halloween...
